Svalbard is the only place in the world where everyone is allowed to live and work. People from more than 50 nations have found a new home here. But life in the Arctic demands a lot from them. In winter, it stays dark for months and you need a rifle for excursions into the wild. The immigrants share the island with thousands of polar bears.
